I need to make one of those conferences. My bread and butter job though requires me to travel at times and go to conferences and so far, I haven't made a domaining one. Maybe this time.

Like the domains you picked. Never did a legal one but have done insurance ones which have paid out nicely. I like the geolocalized ones for competitive markets.

My brother is now coming in with me on developing content in his areas of expertise so I am expanding my net somewhat.

Have a good holiday weekend

"invest in what you know"

Spot on. Probably the reason so many lose so much when it comes to speculative domaining is that they don't start with what they know . . or maybe, actually, they don't know much of anything. :p

I'm still in the trenches, farking around here and there "with what I know domaining" (at least a little of "know"). Some examples of recent "predictive domaining":

ArizonaHomeHealthcare.com (Aging population)
NCTownhouses.com (Boomers downsizing houses to . . )
LackOfAttention.com (Doh! Somewhat defines a generation according to my 20 y/o daughter)
PhiladelphiaCriminalDefense.com (Not much of a prediction. Just gotta grab a good one when you can. ;)

I look forward to drinking that beer, or two or three, with you. I'll be at PubCon Vegas. ;)

Pure:
Good idea. I hadn't thought about that angle. A future Michael Moore type documentary perhaps?

Webwork:
Hey great to see you. I enjoy it and yes, I make money from it. I think the biggest lesson I have learned has been to invest in what you know. Thanks for pushing me in the right direction. Still owe you that beer.

Illderly.com with it's negative connotation could be used for a project critical of the health care system. It would make a great name for a documentary.
